
Lidia brings over 30 years experience in the turboexpander industry including 25 years of aftermarket support upgrading and retrofitting existing units. She specializes in Turboexpander R&D including Expander/Compressors, Expander/Gear-Generators, Expander/Dynos, and Expander Power Shafts.
As the Manager of our Core Unit Design Group, Lidia directs and manages our team of Core Design Engineers to ensure that our turboexpanders are designed or re-designed in order to meet LAT’s high quality and performance objectives.
Lidia LaSerna worked as Lead Core Design Engineer with Rotoflow for over 30 years and has designed more than 300 turboexpander applications for all markets. Some Design Milestone Projects for Lidia include ACR30 – the 1st Active Magnetic Bearing Unit and ACR7 – the Largest geothermal turboexpander manufactured.
